Introduce yourself.

My name is Leon, I am 22 years old and come from Oldenburg. After I finished the technical secondary school in Varel, I started my studies in electrical engineering and later in 2-subject Bachelor of Mathematics and Computer Science. In August I start my apprenticeship as IT specialist for application development at Sector Nord AG.

Why did you decide to train?

During my studies I became aware that theory comes closer to me when I can combine it with practice. This was something I missed at university. Training offers me exactly this connection between theory and practice.

What do you think of the company?

I really like it here so far. There is a relaxed atmosphere in the company and you are quickly accepted. Clear tasks are set and you learn a lot.

What do you do in your spare time?

In my spare time, like many computer scientists, I also deal with technology. I think that's in the nature of the job.

To switch off after work and clear my head, I play American Football at the Outlaws Oldenburg. It's a really effective way of balancing out everyday office life.
